Farm Podere Madonna was constructed in 1885 as part of a farm complex of Monta Taurina in the Valdarno region. Later on it became an independent farm, deriving its name from the area in which it is located, an area which during the Second World War the partisans found born the image of a Madonna robbiana. The present owners have kept up the farming activity, combining agriculture with tourism. .

The Farmhouse resort is very accommodating and comfortable, and the restoration of the premises has very much been kept inline with Tuscan tradition. There is a large garden which surrounds the main house and the apartments, all fully equipped, and with outdoor furniture .

The Farmhouse resort is made up of just 4 apartments, and therefore even when full, always has a relaxed atmosphere, reserved for those seeking a truly tranquil holiday, far away from the city bustle, to re-charge the body and batteries in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by nature .

In the garden, there is a patio area for barbecuing all sort of appetising grilled delicacies, whilst being surrounded by luscious meadow land, flowers and fruit trees, and panoramic views. Alongside there is a swimming pool ready for hot sunny days, always equipped with hot showers, umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers.

The area of Valdarno is only 5km away from the centre of Figline Valdarno, and is very near the border of Chianti. From here it is easy to access the charming city of Greve in Chianti (13km), and of course the main cities of art, Florence (25km), Arezzo (30km), Siena (40km), San Gimignano (50km).
